ginger plant

1.) Most ginger comes from Jamaica, but this plant is a native of southeastern Asia.

2.) The conditions that the ginger plant thrives in is, tropical and subtropical regions.

3.) Ginger is used in medicine, in culinary preparations, and for flavoring beverages such as ginger ale and ginger beer.

4.) No, it does not have any cultural relevance, but many countries do use ginger.

5.) 3 variances of the ginger plant:
a.) is used almost all around the world.
b.) can be used as food, beverage, and even as medicine!
c.) Is a very red plant, which is kind of strange since it comes out as a brown colored spice.

6.) The ginger plant is in the Zingiberaceae ginger family.

7.) The melegueta pepper is also another plant in the Zingiberaceae ginger family.

8.) You can plant the ginger plant as soon as possible, for best results. Especially if you want it to come out with nice roots, and to be very fresh and beautiful looking, red plant.

Haiti-Maggie?

1. Haiti is an island, it is next to the Dominican republic. It is south east of Cuba and south the east of north America.

Chinese Melon-Rachel Carr


The Chinese Melon is also called the bitter gourd or bitter melon, and is grown in Asian countries, but is native to Southern China. It is usually harvested in the summer months, and is eaten by millions every year. Like its alias suggests, the Chinese Melon is a very bitter vegetable and is a member of the squash family. The Chinese Melon is used for both culinary and medical uses. In food, the Chinese melon is used for its bitter taste is stir-fries, tea, and soups. It can also be eaten with yogurt, or stuffed with spices, or served with coconut. Besides these ways to eat Chinese Melon, it can be eaten a bunch of different ways and styles in different countries. As a medicine, the Chinese Melon can be used to stimulate digestion and after boiling its leaves, it is sometimes used to treat diabetes or malaria. The Chinese Melon is not the state anything, but is used throughout Asia and even in some American Countries. The 3 most common uses are that it is cut up and put in stir-fry, soup and in teas. Other members of the Squash Family include pumpkins and zucchini. The Chinese melon should be planted in the beginning of spring, in ensure it is ready by summer harvest.

Peppers should be ripe to aviod toxin. Meaning you should not grow green peppers becasue they are the hottest and most dangerous.

The snapdragon flowers(Antirrhinum) are commonly found in North America. The lovely flowers can survive the cold and also the heat.The snapdragon is commonly used for cutting bed or border. You could use them freely for bouquets at ceremonies at any country. Prefect for weddings, graduations, showers, and funerals.Snapdragon flowers have a unique, irregular shape and come in shades of yellow, red, pink, orange, bronze, lavender, white, sometimes blue. The snapdragon is in the family of the Plantaginaceae( flowering plants). Hebe Flowers are also a Plantaginaceae. The snap drangon should be planted in winter or summer to get the best results.
